I have recently been downloading eclipse-jee-2019-09-R-linux-gtk-x86_64.tar.gz but each time the sha512sum check does not match the sum provided on https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/technology/epp/downloads/release/2019-09/R/eclipse-jee-2019-09-R-linux-gtk-x86_64.tar.gz.

In a previous post it was noted that this is a recurring bug Trying to download nightly for Linux x64, sha512 mismatch with "So far no solution has been proposed, other than the webmaster manually invalidating the cache it each time someone complains".

Please can the servers cached value be recomputed.

Regards,

Yes, there is this Bugzilla:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=534741

This mostly only happens (as far as I know), if the contents of an existing file is changed. Perhaps because there was a respin late in the release cycle this file was changed after the sum was computed and cached.

I'll post a link to this thread on that bug.
