Is the code recommenders plugin dead? The main page seems to be archived and the download link https://download.eclipse.org/recommenders/updates/stable/ brings a 404?

There were no active maintainers anymore and someone/something at the Eclipse Foundation triggered the archival process - which unfortunately automatically removed all update sites, model repositories etc.

Marcel, and you're not even planning to de-archive that? I mean it's OK for you to leave it as such? So it's to be considered dead?

Lorenzo,

although I'd like to this project living on, I cannot commit myself to maintain it and keep pace with all changes in Java and Eclipse (JDT). I think given my current situation it wouldn't be a healthy commitment.

But it still works for the older versions of Java. Why can't it just have a disclaimer about future versions?

I have used it for the substring matches that are way way better than Eclipse's standard ones. Can we have just that feature alone? It would be a great help, at least for me..

For example this was possible and now isn't:
Something.getRecords()
this way you could navigate really fast in your methods.

Now you have to do:
Something.getRecords()

And it still shows you all .getRecord() methods which I am not interested in.
So frustrating :(

Please please, would it be possible somehow to have at least this feature?
