Hi,
Can i create a container where i can directly drag and drop nodes, rather than open a new tab, sub tasks will be directly visible in main diagram window . i want to provide this container option in my palette whenever user have certain task with common functionalities it will first drag a container and then he can drag nodes in that container. (Attaching a template diagram with subprocess)

Hi,

From what I understand, it seems that you simply need to create a drop tool? you can see the documentation here: https://www.eclipse.org/sirius/doc/specifier/diagrams/Diagrams.html#container_tools
You can find an example in this project: https://github.com/eclipse/ecoretools. Take a look in the odesign file defined in org.eclipse.emf.ecoretools.design/description/ecore.odesign, you will find container drop tools.

Regards,

Florian
