Hello everybody,
I would like to know if there is a way to override the registered ItemProviderAdapterFactories (using the same kind of way than the extension point factory_override for the registered factory.)

It seems me this feature is not supported, but I would like a confirmation.

No, that's not supported. Of course in any given context (of a ComposedAdapterFactory) you can add your own specialized adapter factory to override the registered factory but no you cannot inject a replacement/override into someone else's editors.
