I have noticed Eclipse has published most things to maven central. Is there a parent pom for each Eclipse release? I'm picturing something like Spring, where I can add the parent pom for a version, and I get all the correct dependencies' versions.

Maybe I'm not describing this well, I'm looking for a bill of materials pom for each Eclipse release (ie 4.11):

This way, the Eclipse maven repo (https://repo.eclipse.org/content/repositories/releases/) would be very useful.
I could include the import pom to my RCP project, and update for each Eclipse release.

Or, I guess this wouldn't difficult to make. One could write something to list the artifacts in the release p2 and make a BOM pom. But, I'm not sure if everything is getting published to the maven repo.
Is anyone doing this?

A BOM makes a lot of sense. I think it would be good to read over this overview of the current process and then open a bug against Platform/Releng and cc Stephan Herrmann.
