Hi,
May I ask which version of 4diac IDE and 4diac FORTE you are using. Normally the UNSUPPORTED TYPE error message means that the type you are trying to deploy is not available in your 4diac FORTE. For that it would be good to see the very first error message of your deployment. If you have compiled your own 4diac FORTE have you enabled the convert module?
Cheers,
Alois

Hi,
as a general tip for debugging communication issues is always to first just run the initialization and only if that worked send a REQ event. Because, as it is in your case, it is otherwise not possible to see if initialization worked. Cleint/Server connections have one speciality: The server needs to be initialized before the client. Therefore in your case I would depoly the device with the server first and then afterwards the device with the client.
I hope this helps.
Cheers,
Alois
