Hi!

The org.eclipse.compare plugin provides a comparator that can be used to
compare 2 folders of the workspace (it compares every files if the
folders).

I would like to provide a custom way to compare folders, by implementing a
new structureMergeViewer for the compare interface. This can be done for
files with the extension point org.eclipse.compare.structureCreators. But
I have no idea how to do that for a folder. Is there a content type
defined for folders, that I can use in my extension point?
