Dear All,

Does the latest version of TITAN supports the 'map param' feature as defined in ETSI ES 201 873-1 V4.10.1 (2018-05) Clause 6.2.9 Communication port types?

Hi Yann,

no, currently map/unmap param is not supported.
Supporting it would require changes on the test port implementation side as well, and for now we don't see the benefits.

Just one more question: does TITAN ignore a 'map param' when I'm compiling a TTCN-3 source code or is it generated errors?

Hi Yann,

I guess you will want to use map param for dynamic reconfiguration of test ports.
currently map param results in a compilation error, but we can change this to a warning.

You are right ;)
I'm currently working on the oneM2M ATS for ETSI STF 559 (smartM2M). The idea is to use different binding protocol/serialization for each oneM2M portocol port (mcxPort & mcxPortIn).
E.g.: mcaPortIn use CoAP/XML and mcaPort uses HTTP/Json.

To prevent the multiplication of the PIXITs, I did the following:
1) I created a structured PIXIT to describe the Test System settings (see branch https://git.onem2m.org/TST/ATS/tree/TS_PIXITS_ENHANCEMENT_BUGGY).
Note that the work is still in progress.
2) I used 'map param' to pass the Test System settings

I understood (perhaps I'm wrong) that you are involved also in oneM2M project with IoTKETI.

This is the reason of my initial question.

we are indeed involved in the oneM2Mtester project, we consult regularly with KETI.

we have opened a ticket for change of error to warning for 'map param', see:

Titan 6.6.0 will be released soon, and it will contain support for map param/unmap param; for details , see the documentation.
