Hi all,

I got the question from people planing to start a big Tester development and which are in the decision phase on which compilers should they use for the Tester development and they asked me, as they know that I am a Titan fan, whether I know of successful products based on Titan in the market. Unfortunately I could not answer this question, so I pass this question to you:

Do you know of official Testers used for certification which are based on Titan?

Thanks for information or comments,
Olaf

Hi Olaf,

thank you for your efforts in marketing Titan :)

I'm not aware of any commercial product although that is also a possibilty ; however I know a number of open source products/projects based on Titan in which we have been at least partially involved, and participants in these can supply their impression of working with Titan.

I don't have an extensive list but the following projects seem to be significant and they can supply a reference about using Titan:

-Eclipse IoT-Testware, developed by Fraunhofer FOKUS and relayr
( see contact names towards the bottom of the page )

https://projects.eclipse.org/proposals/eclipse-iot-testware

-OneM2MTester , a oneM2M conformance test tool based on Titan , driven by KETI and a number of Korean universities:

https://github.com/IoTKETI/oneM2MTester

-Easy Global Market is also using Titan in IoT security and MBT
http://www.eglobalmark.com/

-Osmocom ( https://osmocom.org/ ) has developed and is executing a large amount of TTCN-3 test cases with Titan to test their 2G/3G products ; talk to Harald Welte

-Andre Puschmann, VP of Engineering at Software Radio Systems is also involved in some testing with Titan

there are more, but either smaller or I have less info about them;
however I hope feedback from people involved in the above projects will be a convincing argument to use Titan.

If people asking about Titan are interested in support, please let them contact me.

Best regards

Elemer
