Hello,

I have a problem when creating a sub model via model refactoring.
Enclosed the "systemmodel-split" with 3 separate independent sub models in different directories.
The problem is visible in Subsystem2(uml, di, notation). The displayed interface does not contain any contents.
(see attachment2_if_no_content.png)
I tried several times the creation of sub models. Sometimes Subsystem2 had this error, sometimes Subsystem3. Occasional I got a message Problem Occurred when I saved the "systemmodel-split". (see attachment1_savefailed.png)
To reproduce attachment submodels.zip contains the systemmodel (uml, di,notation) in folder model-source.

I use
Eclipse IDE for C/C++ Developers, Version: Photon Release (4.8.0), Build id: 20180619-1200 and Papyrus Software Designer 1.1.0

Hello,

I don't have the solution to this issue but I'm also interested in this feature. Could you detail the way to create a sub model from a main model, please?

Regards.

Yoann.

Hi Yoann,

This can be done by selecting the package to be separated in an extra model
and then via context menu "Model refactor -> Create Submodel".

Hi Michael,
so you seem have dicovered yourself the solution I just propose you in your previous post, I'm sorry you get trouble with it too.
From my side, I can't reproduce your problem, but I fix some bugs on this feature in febuary. I tested with the last Papyrus version for Eclipse 2019-03.

Hi Vincent,
thanks, I can confirm, it works with Eclipse Modeling Edition 1903 and Papyrus 4.3.
