How to install J2EE plugin into Eclipse Luna SE [message #1803181] Sun, 24 February 2019 23:36 Go to next message

I have downloaded and installed eclipse luna for Java Developers.

I want to convert it into "eclipse luna for J2EE developers"..

The above link shows WTP3.1.1 and WTP 3.1.2 which is incompatible for Luna.

Can anybody suggest me?

the obvious suggestion is to first try with a recent version of Eclipse, since luna is very old, and the number of people who can advise on luna-specific questions is drastically dwindling.

Hi

Everything in a specific package should be in the associated SimRel repo so you should just be able to Help->Install New Software... for all the bits that you need. If necessary go to a similar installation and see what is installed there by using Help->About Eclipse->Features so that you can match it.
