Hi Team,

I am not getting option of launch an eclipse application in eclipse version 4.9 while the same was available in previous version of 3.5.2.
I am not able to get project celia of Cisco due to this. Also my reports are stucked in between due to this issue which is affecting my agreement with client.
Can you please have a look into and confirm how will I get this option in new version.

Thanks & Regards

Are you sure? You seem to have the plug-in manifest editor open, so the option should be there in the launch configuration dialog, just as before.

I was able to run my inputs through import in project celia from Eclipse application version 3.5.2. Since the upgrade of this to 4.9 I am unable to do this activity due to missing project celia.

Can anyone help from eclipse tools support team. This is affecting my scheduled requirement and affecting capacity reporting.

Can you show 3.5 and 4.9 side by side and highlight what is missing in 4.9? Right now it looks like something you'll need to talk to Cisco about, assuming it's not just a configuration problem on your specific machine.

Hi Nitin,

Thanks for your response. I have attached screenshots taken in both 3.5 and 4.9 version. You can see clearly that Under plugin.xml Testing option is present in version 3.5 while the same is missing under version 4.9

Can you please have a look and confirm where can I find this in new version of 4.9

In the second case, you're opening it with the XML editor, in the first case, you've opened it with the Plug-in Manifest editor. Is that option available on the context menu's Open With -> choices? If not, you don't have PDE installed...

Generally you can use Help -> Install New Software, use the URL that corresponds to the version of Eclipse you've installed, e.g., http://download.eclipse.org/releases/2019-03 (it will probably be in the list) and search for "Eclipse Plug-in Development" in the search field. If you're doing plug-in development, you should probably have installed "Eclipse IDE for Eclipse Committers".
