"Connection closed by peer" is not always an error, it's just an information that 4diac-ide connected and disconnected (for deploying for example). Did you enable monitoring on the system by right click on it on the tree and then "Monitor System"?

As many people are getting confused by the connection closed by peer message should we remove it?

I think it's confusing too. But I think the information is important. Maybe we should log also when the connection is open, add the mSocketID to the information (both opening and close) and change "Connection closed by peer" to "Connection susscefully closed by the client" or something similar that notes that the closing is not an error

I gave this a second thought and noticed that at this place we don't no if this a successful closure. We only no that the other end is not there anymore. And in some cases it can be an error. I think it is better that per default we set the loglevel to error so that most user want see it.

If it's an error, is not a forte error. The logging should be from the point of view of forte. Setting this info to error will produce a logging error always and that would be even more confusing

Ah sorry I think I was not clear enough. I don't want to turn this message into an error message. I want to keep it as info message. But change the default log level of FORTE to log_error.
