My Eclipse will not open due to a proxy error (see attached photo). I have called Norton to get help with them, but they said it is something to do with either my java or eclipse programs. I have taken off my norton security entirely, but it still shows the same message. I have also tried using a different wifi connection as well..

Any ideas or help? I need Eclipse for my computer science class and I cannot pass the class without Eclipse.

Thanks.

The error suggests that the installer is not able to access this URL:

http://www.eclipse.org/setups/setups.zip

Perhaps something on your machine is blocking such access by this application.

In the worst case, you can download a specific package:

https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/packages/
