The 7.1.0 release of Linux Tools is now available from our update site.
The release is mostly a bug-fix release but there were necessary code
changes to be compatible with Eclipse 2018-12 that are not supported
by Eclipse 2018-09 and prior [1].

The tag v7.1.0 maps to commit aa54a840151c6b03e22bb9eccb3c8a9de5a1b461
and corresponds to build 5 in the Jenkin's linuxtools-7.1 job.

Hello Jeff,
I have been trying to launch Remote Vagrind debug session, but didn't manage to do it. I didn't have remote file system in "Choose files system" popup menu in Remote Valgrind launch configuration. I guess in order to do that I need dstore RSE connection type to the remote host, because SSH or FTP didn't work for me. rseserver requires Perl and Java, we didn't have them on our target neither in SDK.

I had to use a complicated solution via Launch Group: starting valgring+vgdb in remote shell then launching manual gdb session connecting to vgdb server. It is very limited apporoach, visualization didn't work, only console output. I'd love to have off the shelf remote tools (at least perf and valgrind) solution in Eclipse, like I've seen it is done in Qt Creator. I feel reluctant switching to another IDE. So could you tell me please, is it possible to use Linux Tools for remote profiling if there is only TCP or SSH connection? I've googled, but found only this unanswered question.https://stackoverflow.com/questions/26589252/remote-debugging-using-linuxtools-valgrind-profiler-in-eclipse/55980832
