Now that there is version 4.0.0 is there a way to update from 3.2.0 or do you have to do a fresh install?

sorry for the late reply, but I was notified of this message.
At this time, Kura does not support upgrades.
Furthermore, Kura 4.0.0 is a major version with breaking changes so, also reuse of snapshots coming from previous Kura versions could lead to unexpected results.

Hi Thomas,
updates are currently not in the roadmap. You can achieve the same result by simply downloading the needed snapshots and installing a new version of Kura.

If you compile from source, you'll find updaters in form of shell scripts. Unfortunately those are not maintained and tested during our QA process. So it is not assured that they are still working.
If that is of an interest for you, maybe it could be a great first contribution to the project.
