Does anyone know how to connect Kura to a Wifi wich is not broadcasting its SSID (hidden SSID)?

Hi,
putting the network name and password and then confirming is not sufficient?

Hi,

unfortunately it is not. as soon as disabling the SSID broadcast on router side, Kura is not able to connect anymore.

It should be definitely a bug.

The Ignore Broadcast SSID option in the Wireless tab can enable the access to networks with hidden SSIDs.
From the Kura documentation [1]:

Quote:

Ignore Broadcast SSID - operates as follows if set to true:
In Access Point mode, sends an empty SSID in beacons and ignores probe request frames that do not specify full SSID.
In Station mode, does not scan for the SSID before attempting to associate.

So, when set to true in Access point mode, the SSID will not be broadcasted, creating a hidden SSID network. When in Station mode, Kura will not check or search for the SSID, enabling the connection to hidden SSIDs.

Could you give a try on your setup?

Thank you for your reply.... I tried it with Kura 3.2.0 Version... I will first try 4.0.0 and if it is also not working then I will definitely file an issue

Thank you for your reply... I found that option, but unfortunately it only has an impact in AccessPoint Mode..creates Wireless AP with hidden SSID.... But does not lead to connection with Hidden SSID Wifi in Station Mode (still tried with 3.2.0)
