I've just installed CFEclipse on the hopes that it will mirror Homesite+. Consider me a dinosaur if you like, but I've been using it since 2002 when it was released, and I would still be using it if it didn't crash so often since Windows 7.

My specific questions are in regards to auto-complete.

If I go to Window > Preferences > Editor I have the following checked...

Auto close tags (i.e. insert a closing '>')
Auto insert a closing tag
Use smart indenting
Auto-indent on tag close

When I start a tag by typing < the closing > automatically appears. If I want to auto-close the tag, I then need to hit delete to remove the > and then retype the > to force the auto-close, which does not smart or auto-indent.

If I uncheck Auto close tags (i.e. insert a closing '>') it doesn't add the closing > but it also doesn't give any tag insight... at least initially. It does provide a list of tags, which I can choose from, but hitting space doesn't bring up the attributes insight. BUT, if I hit backspace and then space again, it does.

Additionally, tag insights provide no drop-down of set values, i.e. <cfmail type=""> which can have only two values: text or HTML.

Are these failures of the CF module in Eclipse, or a general bug in the editor?
