Hi Guys,

I am planning to dive in to building desktop applications using EMF model but not using RCP. I was planning to use Electron js or Angular with JavaFx.

I'm not sure if this is possible or not, or if I can keep my backend code intact with frontend using electron js. Can anyone show me any pointers/tutorials or example projects like this?

I have started this project a while back:

https://github.com/erdalkaraca/hi5

It is already in use since 2016 in one of my projects.
Seems to cover your idea.

Hi Erdal,

I am planing to use Osgi and JavaFx for a desktop project. But how can I use e4 translation service mechanism in OSGi layer.

https://github.com/fipro78/e4translationexample
This is a good example of it with SWT and ".e4xmi" file but I just want to use translation service part in my OSGi plugin projects.

Can you guide me please? Thanks.
