I just read that the EMF Query Subproject (in EMF Services) is now marked as deprecated. Is there a replacement or another similar technology available?

Steve,
I've never figured out why anyone would use EMF Query in the first place. It seems practically of little value. Were you actually using it?

Certainly https://www.eclipse.org/viatra/query.php is way more cool and powerful...

Hi

Or just use OCL directly without an obtuse SQL-like wrapper. With the advent of OCLinEcore you can put all the smarts in real models.

Yes, it is deprecated. To my knowledge nobody uses it and as Ed mentioned it's not even clear what value it offers.

See this thread for a little more details and pointers to a few alternatives.
