The project is a tech refresh of existing Portfolio Management application for one of the largest asset management firms.
Currently application is monolithic and does not use best practices. We are looking to re-write this Application to use newer technologies (current is Java 7, SQL server), patterns (de-coupling, micro-services, RDD) covered with tests and regression tests and move away from third-party libraries on back-end, rework in logic, dependency rationalization, Front-end written on Eclipse RCP and will be re-factored, but will stay almost the same
Requirements
Mandatory Skills:
• Client desktop experience 2 years
• Experience in Eclipse RCP 5 years
• Experience in Java, Swing and Spring Framework 3 years
• Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScriopt - 3 years
• Experience in Webservices (Soap and Rest APIs) 3 years
• Strong communication skills
• Experience as a solutions developer minimum 5 years
Nice to Have Skills:
• MS SQL Server
• Financial industry experience
• Java 7
