OpenJDK with e(fx)clipse [message #1793493] Thu, 09 August 2018 03:16 Go to next message

Hello,

I'm working on Eclipse with OpenJDK 9 on linux. Now I want to use JavaFX, but I'm not sure how to add this to my Eclipse platform.

Is there a former version of OpenJDK which includes JavaFX?

Thank you for every help!

No there is no! You need to install OracleJDK. Starting with JDK-11 OpenJFX will be shipped as a custom module.
