Hi,

I have installed 4Diac 1.9.1, Java 10.0 on my windows 10 PC.
I have tried to import some older projects which I did in FBDK a year and a half ago.
The problem I am facing right now is that I am unable to run (imported systems). I am following the same installation procedure stated on the 4Diac website and the tutorials.
I wanted to know that is there some thing wrong with Java version or the projects I am trying to import are done in older version of the IEC 61499 and are not compatible with the 1.9.1.?
I have also tried to import the example on the Fortiss website, Visualization a fluid control loop, Ben Schneider. But was unable to Open it as well in 4Diac, even by following the method stated in the document.
directionless...

I will really appreciate some detailed answers, to get me going.

Thank you in advance.

Best
Ahsan

Hi,

could you be more specific what you mean with "I am unable to run"?

With 1.9.0 we are not fully backward compatible with older 4diac projects. To open older project you need to once open your old project with 4diac 1.8.4 and save it with this version. Then all files necessary for 4diac 1.9.x are generated and you should be able to open your projects.

Hi Alois,
Thank you for your reply.
I meant unable to debug my previous projects.
I will follow your method, and will update my progress.

Hi,

currently you can only debug those application parts that are running on FORTE devices.

Hi,

I have created myself a composite FB for my Control application.
In the test phase I am getting "FB cannot be tested ... Connection refused: connect" Error.
Need some explanation on testing of FBs and establishing the Connection.

I am following the method on the "Create FB" section of 4diac site.

Test Configration: FORTE REMOTE TESTER
IP ad: 127.0.0.1
Runtime: 61499

Best Regards,
Ahsan

Hi,
in order to test your own FB you need to generate C++ code for it and compile it to your own FORTE. This forte you need to start before you can test the FB.

Alois
