Hi Michael,

I recommend using
- Eclipse market place : https://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/papyrus-sysml-14
- Update site http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/mdt/papyrus/components/sysml14/
instead of "Install Papyrus Additional Components" (which is a custom installer that should, IMHO, be removed)

That said, if you get an error with the market place installation
(like one of these https://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/papyrus-sysml-14#undefined)

I would be very interested in the steps to reproduce it.

Regards,
Benoît

Thanks very much for your response. Your recommendation worked perfectly and SysML 1.4 installed without problems using that route!

Hi guys,
I am facing problems to install Papyrus SysML extension using the recommended update site and the Marketplace.
I receive the message: "Cannot perform the action. Computing solutions"
After that it request to uninstall UML and install SysML.
After I accept the changes there is a message error "Installing Software has encountered a problem.
An error occurred while collecting items to be installed.
An error occurred while collecting items to be installed
session context was:(profile=_home_claudio_eclipse_modeling-photon_eclipse, phase=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.engine.phases.Collect, operand=, action=).
No repository found containing: osgi.bundle,com.google.inject,3.0.0.v201605172100
No repository found containing: osgi.bundle,org.eclipse.papyrus.infra.properties,1.2.0.201703080851
..."
It looks that there is a missing repository.

Where can I find a list of repos?
I am using:
Eclipse Modeling Tools

Version: Photon Release (4.8.0)
Build id: 20180619-1200

Thanks.

Hi Claudio,

In short: retry.

More on that:
SysML 1.4 release was stuck for Photon due to some internal discussion on EPLv2.
It should be good now.
