Can we run the Sirius validation of diagram automatically ? [message #1786277]

Hi,

To validate his diagram, the user has to use the context menu Validate diagram for semantic and view validation. Note for properties view, the semantic and properties validations are applied at the next rendering of the properties view.

Is it possible to tell Sirius to run the validation at diagram opening?

Is it possible to tell Sirius to keep the diagram validations up to date? I think of it like a "Validate Automatically" entry in the project menu (next to the Build Automatically).

I also couldn't find a validate context menu in the model explorer. Is it possible to run the Sirius validations without opening diagrams?

Hello Yann,

This is not possible to launch the validation at diagram opening.

You can see org.eclipse.sirius.diagram.ui.part.ValidateAction.runNonUIValidation(View) where View corresonding to the GMF Diagram to launch validation without opening diagram.
