Hi,

I'm interested in taking advantage of just the edge routing algorithms without performing a layout on the graph. Are there any options that'll let me route the edges without laying the nodes out?

Thanks,
Vivek

No. Routing edges for user-positioned nodes is a completely separate topic that requires dedicated algorithms. The best algorithm I know is libavoid.

For the record: there have been requests for standalone edge routing before [1,2]. We would really like to add this functionality to ELK but are not sure when and if we find time to do so.
