On February 7 you modified org.eclipse.products.setup to change the repository from:

http://download.eclipse.org/releases/oxygen/201712201001

to

http://download.eclipse.org/releases/oxygen

and you refer to the second repository as a composite. What is a composite repository and what are the differences with the first one (I assume the first one is related to Oxygen.2). Also what is the http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/updates/4.7/ repository in relation to the other two. I understand this may not be strictly related to oomph but I have no idea where to put the question and your commit seemed to indicate you knew this information.

Thanks

It isn't Oomph related. There are so called simple repositories that have for example some variant of a content.xml describing it contents. A composite repoository has a compositeContent.xm (or some variant there of) that points at one ore more other repositories. Think of them as like folders with symbolic links. The first two are so-called release train repositories and the last repo is a repo create by the Eclipse Platform project. The contents of 4.7 generally end up in (are copied/aggregated to) one of the Oxygen release train repos.
