Hello,

I would like to launch and record RCPTT tests from my development environment (not from a built product). I build my workspace by using a target platform.

I installed RCPTT plugins and created an Eclipse Application under Test that references an Eclipse Application launch configuration.

While running the Eclipse AUT, the RCPTT target platform seems properly created but the launching stay frozen a while on the step "Initializing source locator..."

Does anyone have already met this issue ?

I also experience the same problem. Starting an Eclipse Application under Test launch config takes a lot of time, it stalls at "Initializing source locator (53%)", then after more than 10 minutes, it proceeds. The console log only appears after the launching job finished.

My environment:
macOS 10.13.3
Eclipse Version: Oxygen.2 Release (4.7.2)
Build id: 20171218-0600

Try to update your RCPTT IDE plugin to the latest nightly via this update site: http://download.eclipse.org/rcptt/nightly/2.3.0/latest/repository/
