Hello, I have a webapp (madsonic) running on a Jetty server, and I would like to configure a virtual host to that service.

this application is running on https://myhost.com:4040/madsonic, but I would like it to be accessed by https://myhost.com:4040

I looked all over the web but all my attempts on configuring this are not working. And I must admit that I'm a bit lost on jetty configuration files.

The app uses WEB-INF folder, but I can't add the configuration to map the virtual host.

Can any one help me?

Thank You

Jetty 8 is EOL (End of Life)

https://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/jetty-announce/msg00069.html

Please upgrade to a supported version.

That is not as easy... This is a package on freebsd that is installed automatically, it uses jetty 8. I know that this is possible because I once was able to to it, some years ago, but now I had to install all from scratch and I can't remember... I know that is as simple as updating a file with the virtual host, but I can't seem to remember.
