Hi there,
first message in the forum, so I apologize if this was already discussed... I searched for it and apparently not.

We're doing a proof of concept using Python and Raspberry.

We want to use a hardware secure element to protect the authentication keys. In particular we'd be using a USB crypto token that provides a PKCS11 library. We have some experience using this with openSSL, but we can't figure out if there's any way to use hardware keys in PAHO. In the tls_set function I only see the possibility to point to a PEM file.

Any hint would be welcome.

I don't need pkcs11 but I need the same thing: Access to a key stored in hardware rather than in a file. Has there been any update to this? Perhaps support for an openssl engine type option?
