Hello,

I'm using

Eclipse IDE for Java Developers

Version: Oxygen.2 Release (4.7.2)
Build id: 20171218-0600

on a Mac Book Pro with Mac OS X Sierra for Perl developing (EPIC plugin).

I just re-installed Eclipse (Oxygen) but when i open a source file in the editor, no title appears in the tab (only the "close X" icon).

Is there anything i need to change/configure...?

Is this a problem with just that file, just that editor (Perl editor?), or everything? I'm guessing some combination of the editor and the location of the file.

Its seems to be a problem with all the files, which didn't exist before (in the previous version of Eclipse running on El Capitan).

I checked the influence of the editor and indeed, editing a file with the text editor shows the title as expected.
The question is where to look now?

There must be a problem with EPIC: when i try to create a new project i get the following error (see attachment)

Solution found: i just installed the newest version of EPIC and it's now working as it should.
