I am running Eclipse Oxygen 4.7.1a on Ubuntu 16.04. Double clicking on the Project Explorer stopped working, therefore to open files I must now follow the File > Open File... menu.

Nothing special has taken place to justify this behaviour. There was an update to the Terminal plug-in, but I doubt it could be related. I have verified file associations and do not see anything strange there either.

What else could be causing this issue?

There's also nothing in the Error Log that might indicate a problem? This works properly for me, but I'm on Windows...
