Hi,

I am working on a 4th year IoT-project where we are using OM2M platform to save/transfer data. I was wondering if streaming camera videos possible in OM2M? If yes then what are the ways to do this.
If not, would saving raw image data be better when an image is requested?

Hope to hear from you soon!
Best Regards,
Umar Farooq

Hi Umar,

Perhaps you should use OM2M to store metadata on your streaming video like information to connect to the stream, type of flow, etc and use specific tools dedicated to streaming to store the contents of video. If your streaming go through OM2M, you will have latency and perhaps problem of bandwidth.

Regards,

Thierry.
