Hi,

I'm just want to convert some specifications made by the OMG in ecore meta-models. The models that are serialized in cmof can be converted using the UML editor but I have seen that there are many specifications in which the OMG uses those formats.

I attached an example file in XML. I hope that someone can give me a clue about this. Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Antonio

Hi

CMOF is/was the preferred OMG neutral format.

Ecore is a proprietary Eclipse format. OMG have discussed using Ecore for their metamodels but the lack of a standard is just one of the impediments.

(The last couple of QVT specifications had UML and Ecore variants of the metamodels.)
