I would like to integrate some rich text in a text field on a Scout form.

Did anybody already tried to do so?

Is there any plans to add a rich text editor widget in the upcoming Scout releases?

No, we don't plan to release a RTE field in upcoming releases. In our commercial products we have a RTE field, but since the underlying editor is also a commercial product, we cannot release the field under the Eclipse open source license.
