Include html models as artifact examples [message #33788] Tue, 26 June 2007 02:19 Go to next message

Is there a way I can include the published html output of a modelling tool
e.g. Rational Software Architect, Rational XDE or in my case SparxSystems
Enterprise Artefact as an example of an artifact.

If I link to the start page of the published model that page is included
in the EPF published output but all of the supporting model pages are not
included.

Yes, the publishing component only "exports" the files that are actually
linked to by RMC elements and not other pages that the linked page links to.
Could you consider deploying the example separately on a web server and
linking to it via http URL instead? Otherwise, you need to manually copy all
the other pages after the publication to the right directory in the
published site. Sorry about the inconvenience, but as a result of supporting
many method configurations we implemented publishing in that way avoiding
that unused resources would be published blowing up the size of the
published site.

Best regards,
Peter.
