Hallo,

I'm trying to prepare a multi-user installation of Eclipse for use with 100+ users. I guess, "scenario #3 - shared configuration" is my way to go:

https://help.eclipse.org/mars/index.jsp?topic=%2Forg.eclipse.platform.doc.isv%2Freference%2Fmisc%2Fmulti_user_installs.html

If a new users start eclipse from the shared location, the .eclipse directory is about 64MB.
When I start eclipse in the shared location with "-initialize", the .eclipse directory of a new user is reduced to about 52MB.
So I copied that largest directory from .eclipse to the shared location, the .eclipse directory drops to 9MB.

However above page says: "The more fully initialized the shared configuration is, the less need there is for files to be created under the local configuration."

How to do so??
How can I automatically initialize the shared installation location "fully"?
