To begin with I am very new to the environment in which I am wanting to set up. This is for a self-learning project.
MY current set up:
HOST Windows 7 hp x64
GUEST (using VMWare Player):
LAMP SERVER
1) Ubuntu 16.04
2) Apache server 2.4.18
3) MySQL 5.7
4) PHP 7.0.22
5) secure file transfer enabled
6) Filezilla working (upload/download, guestToHost/hostToGuest)
7) phpMyAdmin installed

My research seems to indicate that I need Eclipse PDT on both the host and the guest.
I need to know:
1) Is what I found in research correct?
2) If so, how do I set up both and make them work with each other?
