For companies that deal with large projects that have tens of Git repositories for each of their large projects, it would be advantageous and easier to allow repository selection through clicking on the Git Repositories perspective panel and having the selection feed into the eGerrit view to constrain the search to only that particular project. Perhaps even allowing and integrating eGerrit view and when you have selected on a Git Repo within the Git Repository perspective you can RIGHT CLICK -> Show In -> eGerrit view
Currently, it is very difficult to always have to type and search for the repository/project in the eGerrit view search input box. And most workflows already have their projects loaded in Eclipse and Git and so there is no need to search for the repository again with a search dialog, but instead just use the mouse clicks to make this smoother and easier and better integrated with Git Repository perspective.
What are the long term plans for this ?
