Hi guys,

I'm having a problem when i try to use reconnect edge tool. The problem is when i try to change a connection with reconnect tool, it creates a connection between desired source and target but also it creates another for previous soruce and target , so basically it does not reconnect , just create a copy.Here is the sample relations and properties that I use:

Hi

I, effectively, reproduce your issue on Sirius5.0 with basic VP on ecore meta-model.
As I had all it is needed to reproduce I directly opened the bugzilla : https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=525919

Actually, the reconnect tool does not do any operation.
It is up the specifier to defined the whole operations to perform.

In your case, you have to add a unset operation of servertoserver feature wirh "var:source" as element expression.

Thanks for the clarification. i was just following the tutorial about reconnect tool and never seen a unset. Thats why i did not understand the problem at all. I simply thought that by the name of it self 'REconnect''. After adding the Unset element before the Set element it worked fine. Thanks.

Look at the 3rd picture and you see 'Set' right ? Set is used for new target in reconnect process, you should also add 'Unset' and use 'var:source' as expression because you have to update old source information. Hope it's make sense now :)
