Hi,

We are working on the migration of an UML profile, the goal is to be able to migrate the UML model when a applied profile change.

Our use case is a little bit different that the Edapt use case but it looks similar. We think that we can manage the record of actions of our models and generate an history file like yours.
We would like to know if it is possible to extend the migration engine of Edapt to adapt the migration to UML files?

Regards,
Pauline

Hi Pauline,

yes, I think it is possible to extend Edapt to be able to migrate UML files to new profile versions. IMHO you should be able to use the Edapt recorder to record the history and then you would only need to adapt the migrator that interprets the history for migration.

Best regards,
Maximilian
