I have an EMF Model. I am able to create an EMF Parsley project. However I am unable to create a standalone project that launches without the eclipse editor.
I tried configuring the Application and Perspective in the plugin extension points. However I was not successful. I have problems launching the mail example EMF Parsley project too.

Hi Satish,
let me ask you some more details on this issue.
Which version of Eclipse are you using? (Mars, Neon, Oxygen)
Which version of EMF Parsley ?
What errors are you getting when launching Parsley Mail Example and your application?
Thank you
Vincenzo

Hi Vincenzo,

I am using eclipes Oxygen, and EMF Parsley - 1.2.0.v20170609-0953.
When I tried launching the application, I get unresolved dependencies error. But I was able to overcome this by selecting all required plug-ins from the Run Configuration.

However now I am stuck with other problem. I tried developing a pure e4 application. I was able to export the application. Launching the application caused an exception :

ENTRY org.eclipse.equinox.common 4 0 2017-09-26 11:29:33.151
!MESSAGE FrameworkEvent ERROR
!STACK 0
org.osgi.framework.BundleException: Could not resolve module: org.eclipse.equinox.common [49]
Unresolved requirement: Require-Capability: osgi.ee; filter:="(&(osgi.ee=JavaSE)(version=1.8))"

This exception occurs even for a test (nothing to do with EMF Parsley) e4 application.

Thanking you
Regards
Satish

Hi Satish,
version 1.2.0.v20170609-0953 has indeed a dependency problem.
Could you try updating EMF Parsley to version 1.2.1 with the following update site:
http://download.eclipse.org/emf-parsley/updates/1.2/
? (this should update to version 1.2.1.v20170625-1309)
