I just stumbled upon the article of the malicious plugin "Eclipse Class Decompiler"
https://www.eclipse.org/community/eclipse_newsletter/2017/february/article8.php.
As stated in Eclipses security bulletin (https://eclipse.org/org/press-release/20170814_security_bulletin.php) its adware.

Could some admin please remove or tag this article.

That article link now returns a 404 so I guess it's already been removed.

That's because of the auto-linking here including the period. I tweeted the newsletter's editor and I believe she's going to handle it.
