OK, here is the dupe of my post. Hope it won't upset things too much.

First my apology for posting here.
I am having terrible; time signing into Eclispe forum so I really do not have time to figure out how to get to "Beginners"

It is my understanding that in C stdio is the "access" to "
standard input / output" which I though is called "console".

While debugging my app I get to display "terminal" or "remote terminal" AND "console".

I am debugging embedded code on ARM "controller" and running the software on x86 platform.
I have given up on trying to understand what Eclispe calls "local" and "remote".

So - today I can debug the code on x86 using plain "Debug" and I get "console" to trace the code , tomorrow I like to do same for the code residing on the "controller" . I will not use term "local " or "remote" , but eventually I hope I can find access to the "Terminal" on the "controller".

PS I'll try to copy this post to "Beginners" forum.
