Hello,
because of some errornous setting I removed eclipse from my Windows 10 host.
Now I found that there are still remains of the old installations on different places on the host. I installed and removed Neon. After installing Oxygen there are some strange things happen. The name of the old workspace comes up and I cannot link static libraries any more.
Is there a list of files which are created by eclipse?
Thanks
Kurt

I hope someone more knowledgeable than I will respond, but, beyond the installation and workspace directories, I've found Eclipse/plugin related files in %HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH% in the following directories:

.eclipse
.jmc
.p2
.tooling

I found nothing in %APPDATA%, but it seems that each plugin can decide on its own where to put files.

I've been looking for a similar list to know what to backup.
