Eclipse User

We do not want our users updating their software unless they have some
prereq software installed on their server.

How, in p2, could we check to make sure the server has the right updates?
We want to send a network request to get a response to check that a minimum
version has been installed. Are there places to hook into the p2 to check
that before allowing that software to be grabbed from an update site?
