I redently downloaded the C/C++ Eclipse IDE and downloaded the java programking language plugins, but after realizing that I cannot import JavaFX I went ahead and downloaded the e(fx)clipse plugin, which still didnt resolved my problem. Anyone knows how to fix my problem? I am using Eclipse Neon.3 and Java 1.8.0_131

The error straight forwardly implies javafx is not present in the project's class path. You should rather try the HelloWorld application provided in the tutorial link you posted. And follow the steps from scratch to the HelloWorld program.
