Hi,

Is there any solution to see if the timer is activated or no?
I know getting timer id during activation of the timer should provide a solution, but what about if we do not save the timer id during the activation? Is there any way to get the timer id after activation of the timer?

Thanks
Mojtaba

Hi Mojtaba,

The only solution to use the timer ID that is returned when creating a timer. One you have that timer ID, you can query its status or cancel the timer.

Note that you are also responsible to make this ID available to all namespaces where it is to be used.

There is no published user API defined to query for the list of timers or to retrieve a particular timer ID (or set thereof) for a particular timing port.

If you feel this is important functionality, could you please create a Papyrus-RT bug providing a user story/use case that would describe ow you intend to use this functionality?

Thank you!
