HI,

I am trying kura wires. I have installed the opcua driver from eclipse marketplace. My opcua server nodeIds are in "numeric type" , is this a problem when configuring an asset ? I mean OPcUaMessages.nodeId should be a string ???
Any problem connecting with my opcua server but error reading the nodeId...

17:03:20,283 [DefaultQuartzScheduler_Worker-2] ERROR WireAsset:326 - OpcUaMessages.errorRetrievingNodeId

Any suggestion ??

Hi Blanca,
could you please detail your setup?
In any case, current implementation only supports String-based node ids, so the failure with a numeric nodeId can be related to this.

Best regards,
Matteo

Best regards,
Benjamin

Hi Blanca and Benjamin,

You can try the Developer Preview of the next version of the OPC-UA Driver available on Eclipse Marketplace (https://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/opc-ua-driver-kura-developer-preview).
The new version adds support for more Node IDs, including numeric ones, and should hopefully also fix the reported issue.
Please keep in mind that a direct upgrade is not supported on Kura 3.0.0, before installing the new version make sure to delete any existing wire graph and remove the old deployment package.

Best regards,
Nicola
