hello everyone, after adding the OPC in FORTE i wanna build the connection between the 4 diac (as client) and KEPserver (as Server)

However the FB-Client seems to indicate, that the connection totally not successfully works and the STATUS shows always TERMINATED

what does that mean?

and i tried to change the ID somehow, but it still shows the same in any case. and you can see in the pic of KEPServer at bottom right, Client is 0.

ID = opc[localhost:KEPServerEX.V6:500:0:DB1,X0.0:DB1,X0.1]

· Host = localhost

· serverName = KEPServerEX.V6

· updaterate = 500 ms

· deadBand = 0

· fbInput:

o DB1,X0.0

· fbOutput

o DB1, X0.1

hi. I'm not able to write something into the KepWare Server (will look into this a bit later). I can connect, however. I'm not sure if "DB1, X0.0" is a right syntax to access a variable. And the default server name (at least in version, I downloaded from KepWare this morning) is Kepware.KEPServerEX.V6. So I connected successfully using the following ID: opc[localhost:Kepware.KEPServerEX.V6:1000:0.1:Channel1.Device1.myWord:]

I think now the problem could be, that during building the forte project, i got so many warnings. And this warnings are all Linker warnings

but the forte.exe can run somehow and works really good.

could you be so kind again to post the picture of Kepserver Connectivity, cause i want to see which type of channel did you choose. I just want to do the same following you and in order to check, if the opc in 4diac can work or not.

In SystemConfig in 4DIAC i've got only one FORTE_PC, on which I run my client. Should not be a problem, if you deploy your application to forte without any errors. In KepServer Connectivity I picked up an Example Simulator Channel, which was there. Just added a tag there.
